FAQ - How to import QIF files into Quicken®
The following steps are valid for Quicken® versions 2004 and 2005 only.
Step - #1 - From the Desktop click on My Computer icon.

Step - #2 - Click on the Tools tab located on the Tool Bar.

Step # 3 - From the list navigate to the QIF entry. Click Advanced button.

Step - #4 - Select and highlight open. Click on the Edit button.

Step - # 5 - Enter the information shown under Application used to perform action. Click the ok button.

Step - #6 - Now you ready to proceed with QIF download from myMAX Online Branch. Just follow the normal instructions for downloading a file to your PC.

Step - #7 - Click the Save.

Step - #8 - The Save in shows the location of the saved file. Make a note of this location or use the arrow to choose another location. The name can be changed also.

Step - #9 - If the file being downloaded is already on the PC, it can be over written with a click on Yes, or can be renamed with a click on No.

Step - #10 - Click Close when finished.

Step - #11 -Open Quicken 2004.

Step - #12 - Choose the file to open.

Step - #13 - Click on File an highlight Import, QIF file.

Step - #14 - Choose account and under QIF file to import enter the same file name as used in the download step above. Use the browse button to look for it if not known. But it must be the same file downloaded.

Step - #15 - Using the browse button will list files in a directory on your PC. Choose the name of the file used in the download step above.

Step - #16 - Select and click ok.

Step - #17 - The file selected is imported into Quicken account named.
